The important things…

For over 28 years I come in every day excited to listen to my clients, connect with their families and work on a plan to help them worry less and enjoy life more. As a first generation American and the oldest child, I was raised with a strong work ethic and defined by the “American Dream”. My parents instilled in us the belief that hard work, education, and treating people with respect would lead to a happy and successful life.

The professional things…

Since 1994 I’ve been serving my clients as a financial advisor, and since 2011 I’ve held the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation, raising my planning expertise to the highest level and providing a road map for my clients to achieve a comfortable retirement. I graduated from Boston University and started my career as a mechanical engineer. After seven years, in 1993, I changed careers and left engineering to join Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor, my wife Susie and I began 9 terrific years in Seattle before moving back home to New England. Many of my clients still reside in Seattle. I also serve clients in San Francisco, San Diego, Denver, New York, as well as New England. In 2013, I became a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Steward Partners Global Advisory, LLC. and have enjoyed every minute since, surrounded by this group of independent and forward-thinking advisors and colleagues. My career has brought me great happiness, a sense of pride in helping others, and the chance to build relationships with intelligent and interesting people.

The interesting things…

Married since 1992, my wife Susie and I have 3 sons, two dogs, and one horse. Aside from enjoying travel together, Susie has returned to her childhood passion of competitive equestrian show jumping while I enjoy running in road races, playing golf, skiing, and cycling. Although I now have to accept the fact that I cannot keep up with my boys on a bike, on the road, or on skis, I enjoy these activities the most when the boys join us in the fun. Recently, the boys joined me to raise money for The American Diabetes Foundation and rode alongside me for 32 miles in Kennebunk, Maine.
